Land assembly, planning promotion, purchase and build out.

Akkeri Developments worked with the landowners and promotors to acquire the freehold interest in this 55 unit residential scheme once it had received detailed consent. The scheme consists of 55 two, three and four bedroom homes ranging from two bedroom bungalows to four bedroom detached family homes. Located on the edge of the picturesque East Riding Village of Kilham and only a few miles from the market town of Driffield the site is ideally located to delivery quality family homes in a rural location. Works have commenced on site with the first homes available for occupation in the winter of 2022/23. We have partnered with local agent Woolley and Parks in the sales and marketing process. Joint Venture

Akkeri spearheaded and coordinated the design of a market leading 38-unit scheme. S1 West Limited, realising the value add created, invited Akkeri to become equal joint venture partners. Through equity investment, Akkeri were delighted to accept and are progressing planning for this ground-breaking scheme.

Shane Teague of S1 West Limited comments “The guys from Akkeri are clearly extremely experienced in all aspects of the residential development process, providing innovative solutions in order to drive capital receipts. Mixed Use Development

Through the existing relationship with West Ranga Property Group Limited (WRPGL), Akkeri were consulted to provide advice to maximise the value of the obsolete upper floors of a period building within which WRPGL had pre-let the ground and basement floors to a leading UK supermarket. Akkeri quickly established that any proposed scheme was unsuitable for private sale and engaged and secured a legal contract, with Scotland’s largest social housing provider, to purchase 31 units. A detailed planning consent was obtained to the satisfaction of all parties.

A spokesman for WRPGL commented, “From staring at a potential liability, Akkeri – due to their extensive experience – turned a problem into an opportunity. With a strong focus on the commercial development sector, the input from Akkeri was invaluable to our company. We look forward to a long and continued relationship with them on all mixed-use projects going forward.”
